Don has been an active agent since 1976 and became a broker owner in 1981, Valerie obtained her brokers license in 1991 and joined Don and became the managing broker. Don was a coach, trainer, and continuing education instructor for over 20 years, and he loves to share ideas on business development.
They enjoy the family atmosphere with their agents, and the comradery developed. When you have questions or need contract support they are always there for you.

In 2021 he did it again, he left the franchise model and formed "The Gallery of Homes" and his personal business increased from 7 million to nearly 15 million per year. WHY THE CHANGE... Agents are demanding flexibility, higher commission splits, and the fulfillment/pride of running their own business. AND according to the National Association of REALTORS Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers less than 4% of sellers chose the agent because of the firm they worked for, so what are you paying for?

Our History
The Real Estate Business Is Changing... Are You?
Don founded his first brokerage in 1981 (APPLE REALTY) then in 2005 he purchase the RE/MAX Franchise and changed the company name to RE/MAX The Producers. In November of 2020 we decided to become an independent brokerage and changed the name to THE GALLERY OF HOMES. The following year our personal production increased by 45%.
Don & Valerie made the company name change because they could see a significant change in the way real estate agents will generate their business, and the real estate market was evolving where sellers and buyers want more personal and flexible services. The real estate business is changing dramatically, with the advent of online marketing, cash i-Buyers (buy-outs), virtual tours, easy online paperwork, and companies like Zillow getting into the real estate business with a mission to take you out of the business.
To compete in the new world of real estate, it's up to real estate agents to innovate where their business comes from, and that costs money. Innovate means it's up to you to spend your money on lead generation. In the past brokerages developed the leads and their name helped the agents with lead generation. Today it's all about personal relationships and personal branding. According to a study performed by the National Association of REALTORS only 1% of Buyers & Sellers chose their agent because of the firm they were associated with.
